I had to break them in and definitely got some nice blisters on the backs of my feet, but once the calluses were in place they still looked awesome and felt great. They are true to size but it is necessary to suffer the first time you put them on. After that they will not let you down and they are so cool. I have a high arch and was able to adjust the the buckles to an easy fit simply. I like the inside zippers. The material has a nice worn look very true to the photo. I'll be getting the red. I wore them around the house for three hours and ran out to run errands. My feet were very comfy the whole time. They don't have much support in the foot bed might be the only complaint of someone with flat feet issues.
